"Our family consists of two very active beagles, Annie and Maggie. They will turn 5 on the 11th of May, 2008, and have been in Yvette's care since we brought them home at 7 weeks. Yvette is one of the most responsible people we know. Her love and care for animals is second to none and shows so much in our girls as they race for the door, their tails and voices full of excitement every day when she arrives.

We have seen many other dog walkers in our travels in the neighbourhood who surprisingly enough do not care about their duties by taking on too many animals at one time, not picking up after them and sometimes even being aggressive in how they handle them. When Yvette takes the girls out her total focus is on them.
   
Yvette is also extremely accommodating when it comes to unscheduled walks, or last minute cancellations and knowing that she is not only certified in, but holds her Instructor's License in Pet First-Aid also gives us great peace of mind. "Jake has been with Tailblazers for years – 5 days a week and what a difference it has made in our lives. Chris and I are so thankful to have Yvette walking Jake – he is by far the happiest dog (also happens to think he’s a person). He looks forward to his daily group walks with Yvette exploring the parks and is so relaxed and happy when he comes home. Jake has also been privileged to stay overnight at Yvette’s and absolutely adores her dog Blazer. Jake never gets homesick on his overnights and thinks of it as his home since he’s part of the Tail Blazers family. Yvette reinforces good manners and behaviours with Jake and it definitely shows – he has much better manners at home now too!

"I have a shelter dog that suffers from separation anxiety. He is part Border Collie, so is VERY energetic normally. I was having a lot of problems with Chase during a time when his routine was broken. He became very depressed and lethargic and started pulling a lot during our walks. Every noise seemed to scare him and he just seemed wired and oversensitive. Yvette came along and within a week, Chase had his old energy level back, he stopped pulling on the walks and is much more relaxed. He seems happy and playful again and both of our stress levels have dropped. Tail Blazers was really accommodating and came up with a plan to get Chase back on track that really worked!!!"
